Introducing TradeDesk — a risk calculator and trading journal inside TradingView
TradeDesk is live — a collapsible sidebar injected directly into TradingView that combines a risk calculator, pre-trade checklist, trading journal, and statistics. Free, local-first, and private.

Your trading workflow, without leaving the chart
We built TradeDesk because every time you switch tabs to size a position or log a trade, you lose the context the chart gave you. TradeDesk is a collapsible sidebar that lives inside TradingView — click the toolbar icon once to open it, click again to hide it. Everything else stays on the chart.
What's inside
Risk Calculator
Enter your account size, risk percentage (or fixed dollar amount), entry price, and stop — TradeDesk tells you exactly how many shares, lots, or contracts to take, your max loss, your profit target, and your R:R ratio, live as you type. Works for stocks, forex, crypto, and futures. Four built-in presets (Scalping, Swing, Aggressive, Conservative) get you started in seconds, and one button sends the calculation straight to your journal with entry, stop, and size pre-filled.
Pre-Trade Checklist
Five default discipline prompts — or write your own. Run through the checklist before you pull the trigger, then tap "Log this trade" to carry the full result onto the journal entry. If you skipped a check, the extension asks you to confirm before logging. Every entry shows an expandable recap of what was checked and what was skipped.
Trading Journal
Log symbol, direction, instrument type, size, date, entry, stop, exit, P&L, tags, emotions, and free-text notes. Attach screenshots — before, during, and after — with the overlay hiding itself automatically so nothing is in frame. View full-size, download to disk, retake, or delete from a lightbox. Search and filter your journal by result, tag, or keyword. Export to CSV or JSON any time; import back just as easily.
Statistics
Win rate, profit factor, average R-multiple, and an equity curve sparkline — free, for everyone. Break down your performance by time of day and day of week to find when you trade best. Paid plans unlock breakdowns by setup, by emotion, a calendar heatmap, and your current streak.
Local-first and private
All trade data is stored in IndexedDB inside your browser — on your device, not on any server. TradeDesk works fully offline. The free tier doesn't require an account or a backend connection at all.
Free, Lifetime, and Pro
The core experience — calculator, checklist, journal (up to 50 trades), and base statistics — is completely free. Lifetime (€79, one-time) removes the journal cap, unlocks advanced analytics, checklist discipline and emotion P&L reports, a light theme, and priority support — pay once, own it forever. Pro (€11.90/month or €89/year) includes everything in Lifetime plus cloud backup, multi-device sync, and discipline guardrails — daily loss limits and post-loss cooldowns — arriving in a coming update.
We'd love to hear what you think. Try it on TradingView and let us know. ❤️
