Terms of Service - Image Resizer

1. Agreement
These terms cover your use of the Image Resizer browser extension and its related pages on unifybrowse.com ("the Software"). By installing or using the Software you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not install it.
2. The free plan
Image Resizer is free to use, with certain features and limits reserved for Pro. Free use is offered as-is, with no commitment to any particular feature remaining free indefinitely - though we will not remove a feature from the free plan without saying so in the release notes.
3. Pro licence
Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel.
Buying Pro grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Pro features. Your licence key may be activated on multiple browsers and devices that you own or control. You may not sell, publish, sub-licence or share your licence key.
Pro features are unlocked by validating your key against our licence server. If that server is unreachable, Pro continues to work for a grace period of up to 7 days, after which the extension returns to the free plan until it can re-validate. You are responsible for having occasional network access so your licence can be confirmed.
If a purchase is refunded, charged back, or the licence is otherwise revoked, the Pro entitlement ends.
4. Payment and refunds
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, under their terms. Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases; a price change never affects a purchase you have already made.

5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Software in order to bypass the Pro licence check or to unlock paid features without paying
- Redistribute the Software, modified or otherwise, as your own
- Use the Software to process images you have no legal right to process
- Use the Software to infringe copyright or to create unlawful material
You are solely responsible for the images you process and for holding whatever rights are needed to do so.
6. Your content
We claim no rights over your images. Because processing is local, we never receive them, and we have no ability to access, retain, or act on them.
7. Availability
The Software is provided on an as-available basis. We may change, suspend or discontinue the licence server or any part of the Software. Should Image Resizer be discontinued, we will make reasonable efforts to publish a final version that does not require licence validation, so existing Pro purchases keep working.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Image processing is irreversible. Always keep your originals - we are not responsible for lost or overwritten images.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SOFTWARE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR IT IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, IMAGES, PROFITS OR GOODWILL.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
10. Termination
These terms apply for as long as you use the Software. You may end them at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate your Pro licence if you materially breach section 5.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be noted in the extension's release notes. Continuing to use the Software after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [INSERT JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
